SPREAD THE RISK was crowded leaving the start and broke a step slowly, settled off of the moderate early pace while never far back, tracked the pace two wide into the turn, advanced between rivals and loomed nearing the quarter marker, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, rallied at the furlong marker and confronted CONQUEST SECRET into the final sixteenth, wore down the game runner-up in deep stretch and pushed past in the final strides for a determined win. CONQUEST SECRET broke alertly, ceded the early lead to LEEDSTHESKY and stalked that runner through moderate fractions heading to the half-mile pole, saved ground into the turn and prompted the pace nearing the quarter marker, battled LEEDSTHESKY into upper stretch, shook free at the furlong marker and led into the final sixteenth, met the bid of SPREAD THE RISK in deep stretch, was gamely bested in the final strides and was well clear of the rest for second. SHADOWED THOUGHTS broke in at the start and crowded neighboring rivals leaving the break, settled just off of the early pace and tracked outside of the leading pair heading to the half-mile pole, was well placed into the turn and chased three wide nearing the quarter marker, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and chased to the furlong pole, could not match strides with the leading pair into the final sixteenth and held well late for third. ACHROMATIC settled off of the moderate early pace, saved ground into the turn, tipped two to three wide into upper stretch, mounted a mild bid into the final sixteenth and was outfinished late for show honors. ALMOST GOT LUCKY settled off of the moderate early pace, was guided two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, needed more into the stretch drive and offered a mild late rally. GEEJAYTEE settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter marker, maintained an inside path into the stretch and could not muster the needed late response. FRESNO CHILE was crowded at the start and was away a bit slowly, allowed to settle in the early stages, went three wide into the turn, shifted to the inside and saved ground nearing the quarter pole, was able to mount a mild rally in the stretch drive but failed to threaten late.
