CARDINAL TRICK away in good order, chased the solid early pace from outside of rivals, was well placed into the turn and tracked the pace four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, ran evenly to mid-stretch, responded to urging and closed fast into the final sixteenth, surged in deep stretch and just missed for the win at the wire, while getting up in time to secure the place honors. SIX HOT GRANDS hustled away from the start, stalked the solid early pace from inside of rivals, was well placed into the turn, chased two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and advanced at the furlong marker, continued his bid into the final sixteenth, could not get by the determined winner in deep stretch and was outfinished late for second, while holding safely for third. LASMUIGH (GB) raced close up to the solid early pace, stalked two wide and between runners into the turn, was shuffled back at the three-furlong marker and chased the leaders approaching the quarter pole, ran evenly to mid-stretch and offered a mild late rally. DANGEROUS GAME chased the solid early pace from between rivals, ran in pursuit three then four wide into the turn, got caught in traffic into upper stretch and lost ground at the furlong marker, found room past mid-stretch, re-rallied in the final sixteenth but needed more late. BOLD ENCOUNTER settled off of the solid early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn and chased from the inside nearing the quarter pole, ran evenly to mid-stretch, needed more late and offered a mild rally in the final sixteenth. MONSIEUR broke alertly and assumed early command, ceded to DRIVE BY and pressed the solid pace inside of that rival entering the turn, disputed the solid pace nearing the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace at the furlong marker and gave way late.
