Chart notes
EL ALACRAN pressed the early pace, lost ground on the leader leaving the turn while swinging six wide into upper stretch, took aim and drove past about a sixteenth out. INDY ONE chased from outside, was put to urging past the five-sixteenths racing four to five wide, swung seven deep turning for home, kept on to get up for second. PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE settled off the pace and off the rail, had plenty to do in upper stretch racing in behind, moved to the rail about a furlong out and rallied inside to get up for show while narrowly missing second. WETIKO chased from inside, bid inside the leader just off the rail in upper stretch, dueled and exchanged bumps, was outkicked. HAPPY QUAD set the pace from off the inside, came into upper stretch three wide and engaged by an inside rival, dueled with that one exchanging some contact, was outkicked. BIG LEW bumped a rival at the start, chased near the inside in behind, shifted four wide into upper stretch, ran on evenly. CASTLE HARBOUR broke poorly spotting the field about five or six lengths, moved up regaining contact with the others and racing off the inside but was never near enough to threaten. KERR broke outwardly, chased from outside mid-pack early, swung nine deep turning for home, dropped back and faded. KNOWING was bumped at the start and outpaced.
