Chart notes
TRULY QUALITY settled in the two path towards the rear, ridden along approaching the final turn, angled to the four path around the bend, rallied between rivals in the final furlong, fought inside BALNIKHOV (IRE) late, dug in and bested the runner-up. BALNIKHOV (IRE) tucked inside at the back, trailed to the final turn, steered off the fence approaching the quarter pole, swung widest leaving the bend, rallied to the front with a sixteenth remaining but was outkicked by the winner. NINEELEVENTURBO sat off the pace in the two path, roused three deep on the far turn, bumped with inner rival in upper stretch then drew alongside the leader, took over past the eighth pole, relinquished the lead entering deep stretch and yielded to the top pair. ROCKEMPEROR (IRE) settled along the inside, got caught behind a weakening FEARLESS SOLDIER from the five-sixteenths pole to the quarter pole and tipped out into the clear, spun three wide into the lane, chased between rivals for a bit and could not rally in the late stages. DIVIN PROPOS (FR) traveled along the rail out of range through the early going, waited in the two path on the final bend, lacked room in upper stretch, angled to the inside and kept trying but needed to find more to threaten. NONE ABOVE THE LAW stalked in hand outside a rival, chased three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, took aim two wide into the lane, bumped with outer rival in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. GOLDENEYE raced up close early to the outside of the pacesetter, applied pressure at the five-eighths pole, raced on even terms with three furlongs remaining, took over and put FEARLESS SOLDIER away at the five-sixteenths marker, led along the inside into the stretch, challenged from outside and clung to a narrow lead at the eighth pole, yielded midstretch and weakened. DICEY MO CHARA (GB) stalked the pacesetter from the rail, tipped two wide and went between rivals near the five-sixteenths pole, found the rail again at the quarter pole, asked right handed into the lane, tired in the drive and was eased to the wire. FEARLESS SOLDIER stepped to the front and showed the way on the inside early, took pressure at the five-eighths pole, was head into the final turn, yielded to GOLDENEYE at the five-sixteenths pole, gave way after and was eased through the lane.
