HE HAS IT ALL broke in a step at the start bumping TOMORROW'S WISH as that rival recovered from a stumble, tucked inside soon after safely clear which in turn had that same rival take a brief and light hold altering inwards to force LETTER PERFECT to check in tight along the rail, chased briefly inside before tipping out to the three path five furlongs from home, advanced outside the leader through the turn getting set down spinning three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive latching on the leader inside the eighth pole, dug in getting herded by that rival inside the final sixteenth but was up late despite it to score in the final jumps. ELVIS HIMSELF got bumped at the start by SOUNDS LIKE FUN, who broke outwards, showed the way in hand just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under growing threat to the outside under a left handed crop and shied outwards herding out his main danger inside the final sixteenth and was caught in the late stages and forced to settle for the place honors. SOUNDS LIKE FUN broke out at the start bumping ELVIS HIMSELF, chased four then three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the show honors. TOMORROW'S WISH stumbled at the start and was bumped by HE HAS IT ALL, who broke in a step, raced just off the inside and was taken hold of very briefly and altered in placing LETTER PERFECT in tight and forcing that rival to check when HE HAS IT ALL tucked in front albeit safely clear, chased just off the inside before briefly heading inside, steadily tipped out from the seven-sixteenths to be four wide three furlongs from home, went six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. LETTER PERFECT coaxed from the gate, got bumped by TOMORROW'S WISH and was forced to check in tight along the rail when that rival altered in as HE HAS IT ALL tucked in front, tipped out to the two path thereafter and gave chase, tucked inside into the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. There was a Jockey's Objection by the rider of LETTER PERFECT alleging interference against HE HAS IT ALL. After review, the objection was dismissed and the result was allowed to stand prior to the race being declared official.
