FOREST BUZZ stalked close to the back of the pack between rivals in the three path, mounted a rally three wide between foes at the three eighths pole, had a quick turn of foot moving in at the quarter marker, pounced four wide entering the lane and held safe when kept to the task in the late running. PINE KNOLL settled in mid-pack at the start, was coaxed closing the gap on the leaders while tracking the front two outside at the half, could not accelerate in time to go with the winner outside at the quarter pole, shifted out five wide for the stretch run, then darted back inside to the two path at the sixteenth pole but could only manage to chase the winner in vain to the wire besting the rest in the end. MOON LANDING settled on the rail in the last flight, made no movement spotting the field around the turn, swung out six wide for the drive to the wire, found his best stride late and closed in smartly to win the fight for third money. SOULMATE stalked four deep on the outside in the flight at the rear, moved with the winner going four wide outside foes with three eighths remaining, could not match pace with others at the quarter pole but still kept on trying and finished up willingly in the six path to just miss out on getting the show award at the finish line. BREAK THE SPELL stalked near the rear in the two path between horses, made little headway still two wide and with runners on either side through the turn, shifted out to the four path for the stretch run and could only finish up one paced to the wire. TAZMAN was hustled early on the engage between horses at the break, battled inside setting a brisk pace down the backstretch and around the bend, still was gallantly holding on up top in the hunt on the fence in upper stretch, could not find more late and wilted on the fence at the sixteenth pole. CLAYTON was in the mix on the fence on the start, was taken back off the pace travelling head high to sit behind the contesting pair inside at the half, was steadied sharply in tight at the seven sixteenths pole, shuffled back some entering the turn, saved ground keeping pace around the bend but failed to fire in the final furlong posing no threat late. KINETIC STONE had a slim lead on the break between foes, dueled outside down the backstretch and throughout the turn, was headed having rivals on either side at the top of the lane travelling in the three path, had little left for the drive and folded between runners by mid-stretch.
