Chart notes
VELOCIOUS tracked behind OPEN SOUL AUTISM through the early stages, drew even passing the three furlong marker, dueled that stubborn rival into the stretch and finished strong under steady handling and got the better of that rival in the final furlong and edged clear in the final yards. OPEN SOUL AUTISM made the lead from the break, maintained the margin through the turn and into the stretch, fought back when challenged by VELOCIOUS passing the three furlong pole then gave way in the final furlong. HARNEY LANE raced in the middle of the tight pack, maintained position through the turn had clear run in the stretch but was no match for the top pair and finished evenly. GADDING trailed the field through the early going but not far back in a very tight pack, went three wide into the stretch, lacked a closing kick and was outfinished while drifting out down the stretch. READY TO GIG raced close up on the inside, was in contention to the turn, then weakened passing the three furlong marker and was not a factor down the stretch.
