Chart notes
MY SUNNY VALENTINE was content to track outside along the backstretch, was scrubbed on chasing the frontrunner in vain throughout the turn, began to chip away at the leader three wide between foes in mid-stretch, fought on gamely between rivals dueling in the final seventy yards up front and surged right at the proper moment to extend her neck getting the hard-fought stretch win right at the finish line. GLORIANNIA travelled in the three path in mid-division, crept closer to the front pair between foes at the quarter pole, was in range five wide entering the lane, was full of run late, closed in sharply in deep stretch but just missed in a tight finish at the wire for the win. VEERY was under a tight hold clearing from the outside getting to the rail dictating terms down the backstretch, moved well unopposed well within herself up top around the bend, still was comfortably in command in upper stretch, kept rolling along with a furlong to go, switched back to the wrong lead in deep stretch with rivals moving in and faded late for the win but did hold on for the show award. MI CORAZON co-trailed on the inside of a runner down the backside, could see the field running around the turn, was stuck behind a wall of rivals in the two path with a quarter mile left to run, stayed inside horses going two wide at the top of the lane having a clear run, fought on inching up the rail in the last furlong, settled on the fringes at the end but was not beaten all that far for the winner's prize at the wire. VERDEJO co-trailed on the outside, offered a mild run around foes in midturn, swung out widest narrowing the margin on the leaders at the top of the lane but leveled out in the final furlong posing little threat late. VOICE FROM ABOVE stalked near the rear ahead of a couple rivals in the beginning, closed the gap settling in midfield around the turn, shifted out four wide for the drive dueling for a minor share but had little left late and retreated in the last sixteenth of a mile.
