Chart notes
SWEET LA CREMA dueled up front while racing off the inside, dueled through the turn in the two path, shook off the other speed when straightened for home, maintained a daylight the final furlong under steady handling. STAYGOLDPONYBOY shuffled back along the inside the opening furlong, moved out three wide, closer late in the turn, chased the winner past the furlong marker, could do little more with the winner late clearly second best. TIP TOE JOE moved up to duel along the inside with the winner, continued on equal terms with that one into the stretch, could not match strides with that one the final furlong, also proved no match for the runner up, remained clear of the others. CHASIN' CHAFFIN settled in mid pack while just off the inside, in the two path and between rivals through the turn, went evenly through the lane in lacking a closing kick. ARJUN FOR KARZ in the second flight while off the inside, floated out four wide late in the turn, had little left for the stretch drive. WORK BOOTS saved ground to no avail. IMPROBABILITY remained back in failing to menace. FLOATING SMOKEY last away, remained back while angling in late in the turn, not a threat. MAXI BOOTS in the second flight while racing outside, faded.
