Chart notes
ROUSING JEWEL broke well, pressed VICTORIA'S CHARGE through the early stages while being confidently handled, took command approaching the quarter pole, opened up and held clear under steady handling while drifting out a bit late. BLUE WILDCAT broke well but was content to track the leading pair to the turn, loomed three wide at the quarter pole then finished well under steady handling and intermittent urging but could not reel in the winner. STRANGE ADDICTION lagged near the back of the field through the early going, started to run on when put into a drive from the seven-sixteenths marker, came three to four wide into the stretch and finished well under steady handling to gain the third spot near the wire. A REAL JEWEL came away well but unable to contest the early pace tracked mid-pack to the turn, responded when set down passing the three furlong marker, finished willingly but was not good enough. DRAW ME was devoid of early speed and dropped far behind early, made a mild late run five wide into the stretch but was was never a serious threat. RED MOON a little slow into stride, was mid-pack in the early stages but had to be ridden to keep pace, saved ground to no avail, did not respond to heavy pressure from the three furlong marker and was not a factor in the lane. VICTORIA'S CHARGE was hustled from the break, took the lead before a furlong with ROUSING JEWEL pressing the pace to the outside, gave way after passing the five-sixteenths pole and hand nothing left for the stretch run.
