Chart notes
JAMIESTA was under a snug hold co-trailing on the inside, was nudged on the rail biding time looking for running room in the third flight on the fence in the turn, found a seam in the three path in early stretch was full of run reaching for more ground darting to the rail at the sixteenth pole, came with a rush late and got up for the well timed charge right at the wire. MOON LANDING prompted the pace in the beginning, took over the front end on the rail by the half, maintained a slim advantage on the fence while pressed outside around the bend, repelled the pesky early speed foe by the furlong marker opening up slightly but could not find another gear late to hold off the late surge by the winner inside at the finish line. CLAYTON assumed the lead on the break, was content to track outside off the leader at the half mile marker, moved in to hound the pace outside with three furlongs remaining, still was in the thick of things in the three path turning for home, was repelled by the pacesetter by the eighth pole, could not continued on with the front pair in deep stretch but did stay on to be a clear third at the finish line. BREAK THE SPELL co-trailed on the outside at the half, crept closer three wide around rivals in the turn, angled out five wide at the top of the stretch, grinded away never giving in outside foes through the lane and got up at the wire to settle on the fringes. PENNER ASH (IRE) watched the lead two while going three deep outside horses along the backside, edged up outside two wide around the turn to be in the mix in the four path in upper stretch, had little left for the late run and tired at the wire between foes dueling for a minor share. C C'S KINGDOM settled on the rail in mid-pack, waited behind the contesting duo on the turn inside a rival, had a clear lane inside at the top of the stretch but failed to fire in the final furlong. PRINCE OF AYRSHIRE travelled between runners in the two path in mid-division, dropped back at the three eighths pole unable to quicken with others, trailed through the turn and could not factor in the stretch running.
