Chart notes

MISO PHANSY stalked two wide into the turn, spun three wide into the lane, closed in and collared the leader at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. MARIA TALLCHIEF raced keenly up the backstretch then settled into a stalking position on the inside, took up at the three-eighths pole, hugged the rail to the stretch, angled out at the eighth pole, launched a bid entering the final sixteenth and got outkicked by the winner. ORANGE THUNDER crossed onto the dirt awkwardly, sat off the pace on the inside, shifted to the two path approaching the five-sixteenths pole, moved out in the lane and got up for third. NEPAL showed the way early under pressure from outside, cleared at the quarter pole, showed the way into the final furlong, collared by the winner at the sixteenth pole and yielded late. TROPICAL RAIN DAY pressed the pace from outside to the five-sixteenths pole, could not keep up with the leader with a quarter mile left to run, chased within range into the final furlong and weakened late. BUTTERFLY BEACH broke a step slow and inward, steadied behind a rival across the dirt, checked at the half-mile pole, saved ground around the turn, lacked room in upper stretch and kept on once finding a clear path. KAPALUA RIDE bumped leaving the gate, settled off the speed, steadied off heels at the three-eighths pole, continued along the inside to the stretch and weakened. GO CAMI OH bumped leaving the gate, raced up close outside the top pair, chased off the rail to the stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. TAPATIA LEAH broke a step slow, traveled outside a rival at the back, went two to three wide around the bend, bumped in upper stretch, moved out in the drive and failed to make an impact. FOREST DAZZLE brushed start, traveled three deep near the back, went four wide into the turn, five wide turning for home and failed to menace. SAINT SHELIA chased from off the pace, came under a ride two then three wide on the turn, drifted in and bumped upper stretch and weakened.
