Chart notes
SPEEDYNESS , right to the front, saved ground controlling the pace, was set down in upper stretch and held sway under brisk urging. OFFALY COOL , always lapped outside the winner, chased that one around the oval in a game effort. HITTHEROADJAK , unhurried outside horses down the backstretch, circled the far turn wide, drifted in near the sixteenth pole and rallied. CATALEYA STRIKE raced in the three path on both turns, eased out to the four path in upper stretch and was no threat. BRILLIANT ICE stayed inside horses down the backstretch, raced in the two path between rivals mid way on the far turn, moved back to the inner rail turning for home and failed to rally. DEPOSITION , a forward factor along the inner rail, chased the pace to the far turn then gave way. WILD VINE , in hand between horses entering the backstretch, moved up entering the far turn and gave way in upper stretch.
