AMERICAN STORM broke out at the start and was away a step slowly, lacked early speed and settled outside of runners heading to the turn, roused at the quarter marker, mounted a five to six wide rally into the stretch, was full of run into the drive, took command at the sixteenth-marker and drew clear late. AMERICAN RANGER BB a step slow leaving the start, was a bit rank early then rushed up to track the pace heading to the half-mile pole, chased four wide to the quarter pole, vied for the lead into upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and outfinished the rest to earn the place. NOBODY'S PERFECT prominent early, disputed the pace three deep heading to the half-mile marker, pressed the pace three wide into the turn, raced a bit in tight while between runners into upper stretch, vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, could not match strides with the winner in the final sixteenth then was edged late for the place honors. BYE BYE RUSS tracked the early pace from the inside, saved ground to the turn, was well placed at the quarter pole and maintained an inside path to the stretch, battled into the lane then flattened out in the final sixteenth. SHINY SHORES assumed a narrow early lead, set a pressured pace while off of the rail entering the turn, drifted to the three path into upper stretch then battled for the lead nearing the furlong pole, could not hold off rivals into the final sixteenth then faded late. TRAFFICSTORM broke awkwardly and trailed to begin, saved ground into the turn, swung widest into upper stretch and improved position through the lane. CALL ME HOLLYWOOD prominent early, pressed the pace to the turn while between runners, lost position nearing the quarter marker then tired in the stretch drive. AMERICAN KNIGHT tracked the early pace from the second flight, was outrun to the turn and did not factor in the stretch drive.
