Chart notes
PROVEN HOPE ceded the lead to NEXT REVOLT on the first turn but was a constant shadow to the outside of that rival to the far turn, assumed command approaching the quarter pole then opened up when set down in the stretch and drew off to win clear. EDIFIED raced three wide with the tracking group, launched a bid three furlongs out, came three wide into the stretch, was no match for the winner but won the battle for the second spot. I DON'T GET IT steadied when pinched at the start, then raced between horse in the tracking group, maintained position under a drive as the pace picked up, finished well but was out-nodded for the place. SHARP SPARK unhurried from the break and settled well behind the rest, launched a three wide bid from the five-sixteenths pole, came under steady right handed urging but was unable to make an impact. HEIR TO GREATNESS settled inside, was always close up to the far turn then was outkicked in the stretch. NEXT REVOLT hustled forward from the break, led through the first turn, tried to slow down the pace despite PROVEN HOPE pressing to the outside, was set down from the five-sixteenths then weakened in the stretch.
