ARTFUL CRITIC crowded at the start and off a bit slowly, recovered and tracked the pace heading to the turn, chased two to three wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, loomed four wide into upper stretch and battled to the furlong grounds, made a quick move to take command into the final sixteenth then drew clear in deep stretch. SHAME ON SAM always close to the early pace, pressed three wide into the turn then lost position into upper stretch, stayed on and re-rallied into the final sixteenth, could not impact the winner in deep stretch and was up in time for the place honors. SHUG'S ROCKET prominent early, stalked the pace from the rail heading to the turn, vied for the lead at the quarter pole then took command into upper stretch, dug in past mid-stretch then was overtaken into the final sixteenth, could not match strides with the winner late and was outfinished for the place, while clear of the rest for the show. B R KIDD ROCK sent to assume early command, set a moderate pace while prompted heading to the turn, carved out the fractions while off of the rail nearing the quarter marker, overtaken into upper stretch, battled to the final sixteenth then faded in deep stretch. BEAU VERO hopped at the start, rushed up along the inside and was well placed heading to the turn, was caught in tight at the quarter pole then found room into upper stretch, chased to the furlong grounds then weakened in the final sixteenth. THE LAST FEAT bobbled then was crowded at the break and was off a bit slowly, settled off of the early pace, chased two wide to the quarter pole then passed tiring rivals in the stretch drive. M G M'S LUCKY broke out at the start and crowded a neighboring rival, recovered to be forwardly placed early on, tracked the pace while in a bit tight heading to the half-mile pole, chased the pace three then four wide along the turn, ran in pursuit five wide into upper stretch, was outrun to the furlong marker then gave way. HOLLYWOOD TIZ tracked the early pace from between rivals, chased four wide to the turn, shifted two wide along the bend and was outrun to the quarter marker, lacked a response in the stretch then did not factor in the late stages. DANJERUS STORM forwardly placed early on, chased outside of rivals heading to the turn, ran in pursuit four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, went six wide into upper stretch, could not keep pace at the furlong marker, was eased through the late stages and walked off under his own power.
