Chart notes
SIR RUCKUS tracked the early pace from outside of runners, chased three wide to the quarter marker, made a sustained rally through the stretch, caught DIAMOND RAPPER in deep stretch then edged away in the final strides. FINALLY AN EDDIE tracked the early pace from between runners, saved ground into the turn and chased DIAMOND RAPPER nearing the quarter marker, maintained an inside path into upper stretch, rallied in the lane, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and got up in time to secure the place. DIAMOND RAPPER showed good early speed and assumed command away from the start, sped to a clear lead along the turn then showed the way into upper stretch, was all out into the final sixteenth then was overtaken in deep stretch and held for the show. LAUGH OF THE PARTY tracked the pace four wide nearing the quarter marker, closed well into the stretch, could not find the needed response in deep stretch and missed for third. RONCHETTI took back off of the early pace, was caught a bit in tight and checked at the three-eighths marker, chased two wide into upper stretch and lacked a late rally. MOON SHINE TIME lacked early speed, trailed to the quarter pole then swung wide for the stretch drive and failed to threaten in the late stages. HOWDOYALIKEMENOW chased outside of rivals heading to the turn, lost position along the bend, ran in pursuit four to five wide into upper stretch and lacked a late response. KICKIN' CHARLIE raced close up to the early pace, was well placed to the turn and saved ground while chasing along the bend, could not keep pace at the quarter pole then dropped back through the stretch drive.
