Chart notes
PULPIT'S DREAM broke very awkwardly then was unhurried from the break and angled over to the rail before the first turn, quickened on cue halfway down the backstretch and moved to within a length of the leader just past the three furlong pole. BELLA CARMELINA came away well and settled in a stalking position behind CHATTANOOGA CREW through the early stages, went to challenge for the lead up the inside into the stretch as PULPIT'S DREAM went to the outside, finished up well but was outkicked by the winner. SISTER SAINT settled mid-pack then did not quicken with the rest and was last on the far turn, was kept in a drive on the rail and found some late energy to rally into the third spot. CHATTANOOGA CREW was coaxed from the break and seized the rail and the lead on the first turn, tried to temper the pace down the backstretch, attempted to quicken heading into the far turn, maintained a lead until late on the far turn, gave way in upper stretch. AWESOME BECCA was allowed to settle from the break and raced at the rear of the field through the first half, crept closer after passing the half-mile pole then launched a mild bid three wide on the turn but went flat in the stretch.
