Chart notes
RAINY MOUNTAIN broke well, dropped back early, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, bid five wide into the stretch, finished well despite racing on the wrong lead. PALACE MAGIC hustled vied inside through the early stages then had to take up near the seven-sixteenths marker, angled out and put in a solid late run, led late but could not hold off the winner. RUNNERS HEAT off a step slow, vied four wide early then went on after LADY ATLANTIC from the half, moved to challenge at the quarter pole, finished well under handling and urging but was outkicked in the late stages. A REAL HERO contested the early pace two deep, chased the leaders two wide through the turn then finished with some late interest between horses but lacked a winning kick. LADY ATLANTIC was three deep in the early pace battle then went on ahead of the rest from the half, turned back a challenge near the quarter pole then went flat late. HEAVENLY HASH broke well but did not get involved in the early pace mix, was being outrun through the turn but stayed to the inside and kept to task late but was unable to improve.
