Chart notes
GIRL FROM DE BAYOU was outpaced from the break but was under coaxing to keep close, kept to the inside through the turn then tipped out to the four path in upper stretch, finished well under handling and wore down the leader in the final yards. PLATINUMUS MAXIMUS broke well and took up the chase behind T D Z ZODIAC QUEEN was joined by a pair of rivals inside and outside going into the turn, emerged late on the turn to take the led then could not hold off the winner in the final yards. DEAL WITH IT was under coaxing from the start and stalked the pacesetter along the rail, cut the corner in to the stretch then was in tight at two points in the stretch run and could not put forth a best effort. T D Z ZODIAC QUEEN sprinted clear early, led the field to the top of the stretch, dug in under heavy pressure in the stretch but weakened late and missed out on a minor award. SPICY MUSTARD broke well, hustled into the early mix then raced three to four wide and faltered in the stretch. TEXLA was off slowly and dropped far behind early, saved ground and chased the rest from well behind. RANOLOGIST broke outward, showed brief speed then weakened with three furlongs still to run and was not a factor in the late stages.
