Chart notes
CLASSIC DANCER was bumped around between rivals on the start, seized command when roused while entering the backstretch, increased the advantage running midway around the bend and was kept to the task down the lane while really never threatened in deep stretch. EMBRACE MY UNCLE was void of early speed trailing along the backside, continued to settle into a rhythm at the rear through the running on the turn, angled out in the seven path getting on track, widest, turning for home and closed in smartly to just edge the inside foe late for the runners up share. YORKVILLE broke out on the start, sat alone in mid-pack down the back straight, narrowed the gap on the leaders through the turn running inside rivals, was in the thick of things for a piece of the prize four wide at the top of the stretch, ran determinedly trying to get to the winner, but just faded late losing the place share nearing the finish line. THIS DUDE A BREEZE had an outside stalking position down the back straight, travelled three wide outside foes under a ride running mildly throughout the turn, shifted out six wide with runners on either side and finished up one paced to pass a weary foe late getting a minor placing in the end. GALVASTON bumped the inside foe on the break, was isolated watching the front pair down the backside, moved in for the place share inside while urged for more around the oval, shifted out three wide still in the hunt turning for home and gave way inside foes in the last sixteenth of a mile. COST BASIS chased the front end winner outside in the early stages, was hard ridden with five sixteenths to go but was letting the pacesetter get away around the bend, tried to fight on for a small share in the five path between horses at the top of the lane, had little left and wilted in the final furlong.
