COMPETITIVE THREAT (IRE) raced four paths off the rail past the stands the initial time, tucked three then two wide through the first turn settling two to three wide in closest aim of the leader down the backstretch, remained on hold when the leader sputtered and gave in near the five-sixteenths, inherited the front at that station and came under threat to the outside and got placed to urging nearing the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, inched away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held gamely to the finish over a charging rival. DANDY VANDY (FR) settled tracking the pace from just off the pace along the inside and then just off the inside when having to circle around the former leader in retreat at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, rallied willingly through the stretch to the finish but was ultimately staved off while clear for the place honors. DAY AWAY settled two to three wide in pursuit from mid pack, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, ran on to secure the show honors. LADY GUNNER tracked the pace along the inside and then just off the inside when circling a fading rival, got let out back in the inside route into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. AMERICAN KESTREL just off the inside through the first turn, chased four then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, swung three wide for home, weakened in the late stages. CLASSIC CARA saved ground in pursuit from mid pack, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun two to three wide for home and made no headway. WAKE UP LAUREN just off the inside through the first turn, chased four wide coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, tipped six wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the end. SAILAWAY saved ground near the rear of the field, came under encouragement near the five-sixteenths, angled six wide at the top of the stretch, offered no rally. Following a saddle adjustment behind the gate, ADDRESSABLE MARKET (IRE) along the inside through the first turn, chased three then four wide under a ride from the three-eighths marker, went seven wide into upper stretch and had no kick. YOLO saved ground through the first turn and down the backstretch before tipping four to five wide through the far turn being ridden along with five-sixteenths to go, went eight wide at the head of the stretch and offered no response. Following a shoe repair in the paddock, OCEAN RAIN raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened. ITZA KITTY established the front and showed the way along the inside through the first turn and then two to three wide down the backstretch, tucked inside into the far turn and gave way yielding the front near the five-sixteenths, retreated quickly along the rail and went three wide into upper stretch, folded, and was eased home to the finish.
