Chart notes

FEELTHEBEAT tracked the early pace three wide, was well placed along the backstretch run then roused into the second turn, confronted BOBBY'S GIFT into upper stretch, dueled that runner past the furlong marker, wore down BOBBY'S GIFT in the final sixteenth and won the nod on the wire for a determined win. BOBBY'S GIFT stalked the early pace, kept attendance to SARGEANT BARGER along the backstretch, vied for the lead two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, met the bid of FEELTHEBEAT into upper stretch then dueled that runner into the final furlong, clung to a narrow lead into the final sixteenth, was gamely bested in the last strides and held safely for second. MASON A. P. a bit in tight into the first turn, tracked the early pace three wide then shifted to the rail into the backstretch, saved ground to the second turn, asked for run into upper stretch, navigated traffic at the furlong marker, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. SARGEANT BARGER sent to assume early command, set the pace off of the rail while prompted up the backstretch, led into the far turn then was overtaken into upper stretch and faded through the final furlong. ROGUE ELEMENT off a bit slow to begin, was unhurried to the backstretch, saved ground to the second turn then swung widest into upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages.
