Chart notes
KINSMAN REDEEMER allowed to settle from the break then tracked mid-pack to the turn, bid three wide from the three-furlong pole came to engage SIR LIAM at the quarter pole, briefly dueled to upper stretch then pulled clear. SIR LIAM broke out into KINSMAN REDEEMER at the break then still made the lead racing high-headed early, cleared off by a couple of length through the turn then battled back when set upon by KINSMAN REDEEMER at the quarter pole then gave way in mid-stretch. COURAGEOUS CUPID broke well but did not engage early, was last in the compact the field into the turn, steadily advanced into contention late on the turn but could not sustain the bid in the stretch. ALLIED COMMANDER did not display much speed from the start, settled inside at the rear but not far from the front, saved ground through the turn then finished one-paced in the stretch. MY LIAM chased SIR LIAM through the early stages, was sent after that one under a drive from the three furlong pole but did not respond and was outfinished in the stretch while racing mostly on the wrong lead. CONTRABANDIST broke alertly then tracked three wide down the backstretch, and four wide into the stretch and did not threaten.
