ST. ELMO tracked the pace between foes in early stages, took the inside position and lacked racing room while sitting behind a wall of pursuers near the half mile marker, continued to lack a clear path late on the far turn, tipped three wide at the head of the lane, came under a drive, responded, steadily advanced, collared the leader late and edged clear. DINNER AT CRUMPIES stalked the early pace, vied around the far turn, shook free near the furlong marker, continued to put in a good effort but got overtaken late. MIDNIGHT RULES raced in a compact second flight in the early backstretch, edged back and settled in the rear going by the half, hustled up along the rail entering the upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and captured show. C R INSTA GATOR set a pressured pace, vied late on the far turn, fought back into upper stretch, got overtaken near the furlong marker and gave way. KARAOKE bumped with rival at the start, raced four wide in a compact second flight mid-way up the backstretch, hustled along four wide around the far turn, had no response and weakened. DAY MONEY came up empty after the half and jogged in. EARS TO ME raced in a compact second flight, chased two wide around the far turn then quickly retreated in the lane and jogged in.
