SUNBLAZE settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the stretch the first time, pulled her way into a stalking trip in the run down the backstretch, launched her bid from along the inside entering the final turn, shifted off the rail leaving the turn, and closed strongly two wide in the drive to prove best. VIVA LA DIVA broke sharply and raced to the lead entering the stretch the first time while saving ground at the rail, controlled the pace from the inside of WIRLY GIRLY in the run down the backside, maintained her advantage through the final turn and into the stretch, but was no match when tackled by SUNBLAZE late while proving easily second best. WIRLY GIRLY away alertly and eased into a tracking trip from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, tipped off the rail to chase the pacesetter two wide in the run down the backside and into the final turn, was no match for the top pair late, but battled on to garner a share. MATSQUI settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the backstretch, raced into a stalking trip from along the rail in the run down the backside and through the final turn, continued to save ground through the final turn, but needed more of a response late when called upon. HIGHER IMAGE missed the break to get away poorly, and trailed the field throughout, posted a mild bid through the final turn, but failed to make a late impact. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
