Chart notes
J DOUBLE E P took a slim lead soon just after the start, set a pressured pace up the backstretch, held a narrow advantage inside around the turn, shifted two wide at the head of the lane, widened advantage under right handed pressure and kept to task. PEARCY ROAD was forwardly placed from the onset, remained in aim around the turn, came three wide into the upper stretch, ran on with response but had to settle for second best. MY GOLDEN BABY sat off the pressured top flight along the outside, came under a ride and swung five wide into the upper stretch, sustained a steady outside bid and cleared a share. HEY BUDDY pressed the pace between foes up the backstretch, remained in striking distance around the turn, came two wide into the upper stretch and flattened out. MASH ON THE GAS was forwardly placed two wide in striking distance in the opening quarter, remained in close contention around the turn, angled to the inside at the head of the lane and gave way in in the final furlong. OUR FLAT OUT was away slowly at the start and trailed throughout.
