Chart notes

COUNTER CAT broke sharply and tracked the dueling leaders into the first turn while racing one out from the rail, continued to track the pacesetters from along the inside while under a snug hold, split rivals to take control approaching the final turn, and drew clear over the final furlong. READY FOR ANYTHING away well and dueled for the lead from between rivals entering the first turn, continued to force the issue two wide entering the backside, was overtaken approaching the final turn, rallied two wide through the final turn, and closed willingly one out from the rail in the drive to prove clearly second best. FORCED TO RUN away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, continued to set a pressured pace into the backstretch, was quickly overtaken nearing the final turn, saved ground through the final turn, and finished two wide in the drive to hold on for a share. PICKLEDAGAIN broke inwards and steadied briefly off heels in the opening strides, and trailed the field into the first turn, bided his time at the back of the pack in the run to the final turn, launched his bid three wide entering the turn, and finished with some late interest four wide in the stretch drive. BOONESBAKKENTOWN rushed up three wide in the run to the first turn to press the pace, continued to chase the leaders with a wide trip into the backstretch, started to lose touch with the leaders in the run to the final turn, and had little to offer late.
