Chart notes
MADE FOR CRUISIN broke a half step slow, raced up to track the leaders from wide down the backside, rallied five wide on the turn to take the lead turning for home, bore-in from the five path to the rail in upper stretch causing the runner-up to take up sharply just before the eighth pole and finished well drawing off through the lane. PLAYFUL stalked the pace to the quarter pole, rallied between rivals three wide turning for home, checked sharply nearing the eighth pole when the winner bore-in across his path and finished evenly when straightened away. ABSOLUT JOHN rated mid-pack, angled out for the drive and rallied well with a late gain. ALBERTA ICE reserved off the pace, circled six wide turning for home, drifted further out through the lane and put in a mild bid. MO NACHO broke sharply to take a clear early lead, battled to midway down the lane and tired in the final eighth. CAIRO COWBOY went evenly never posing a threat. SCHMUGLEY was not a factor. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY AND THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF THE RUNNER-UP CLAIMED FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN BY THE WINNER, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED THE WINNER AND PLACED HIM SECOND.
