GREY PRINCESS had an awkward start on the break, co-trailed on the inside down the back straight, was a clear last when being throttled down on the rail to shift out midway on the last turn getting to the outside of runners, had a very sharp burst of speed quickly circling around foes six wide in upper stretch, drove past all runners taking control by mid-stretch and won going away at the wire. FANORE (IRE) tracked the lead duo outside down the backstretch in the three path, was scrubbed on but could not keep up to rivals making a move at the quarter pole, could not find a seam three wide at the top of the lane, was in tight losing momentum briefly at the furlong marker, finally got clear run in the final sixteenth and charged home late to best the rest for the second place share. HELL BENT stalked close to the back going three wide on the first bend, ranged up four deep by the half mile marker outside rivals, crept closer to the leader three wide on the far turn still taking the overland route, was in the thick of things in the four path turning for home between foes, chased the winner in vain at the furlong pole and just got caught at the wire for the runners up share. YORKVILLE battled outside for the front end into the first turn, continued moving forward to clear up top three quarters from home, was hounded outside still maintaining a quick pace along the backside, inched away from the early speed foe at the three eighths marker, spurted away again to increase the advantage in upper stretch, had little left in the late stages and wilted in the last sixteenth of a mile. SUGAR IT'S ELI trailed in the beginning, had company on the outside while paired up at the rear down the backside, had a brief turn of foot three wide at the three furlong pole, shifted out in the five path for the stretch drive but stalled in the final furlong. VALLEY VICTORY settled on the rail in mid-division, took closer order to draft behind the leader by the half, was hard ridden on the fence on the far turn but was holding his own to be in the mix on the rail in upper stretch but needed more in the late stages unable to threaten in the final furlong. ROYAL HUDSON travelled in mid-pack in the two path between foes down the back straight, made little movement still two wide throughout the far turn and lacked a rally inside rivals down the stretch. CHANCEL dueled inside going into the first turn, had to be steadied on the fence with three quarters to run losing his path, shifted outside in the two path between horses to re-engage for the lead along the backside, came under a ride at the three eights but could not keep up to the leader through the far turn and folded two wide in mid-stretch.
