CHARLIE MIKE vied inside of rivals for the early lead, continued to match strides with OM SASSY around the turn, shook clear turning for home, widened advantage and held clear under steady encouragement. HIPPIE TRAIL vied four deep for the early lead, chased three wide around the turn, sustained bid into the lane and cleared second best. OM SASSY vied for the early lead, continued to duel outside of CHARLIE MIKE around the turn, could not match strides with eventual winner entering the head of the lane, yielded near mid-stretch and just lasted for show. HEAVENLY DANCER vied two wide for the early lead, saved ground around the turn, chased along the inside into the lane and got narrowly missed show. CLASSYCOWTOWNLADY raced off the embattled top flight in early stages, hustled along four wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response for impact.
