Chart notes
PRIVATE LABEL was prominent in the run to the first turn easing back entering that bend content to track inside, made a swift advance three wide past the five-sixteenths taking the lead from between runners, drew clear in the stretch. THOR'S CAUSE unhurriedly brought up the rear racing off the inside, was forced outside foes three to four wide on the far turn starting to advance some, ran on in the stretch to secure the place without threatening the winner. WILD CARD was lightly bumped into a foe at the start, settled off the pace three wide, took closer order on the far turn advancing between foes, was put to urging past the five-sixteenths, shifted in once in upper stretch, ran on but needed more. PAYNES SPIRIT bumped a rival lightly at the start, was forced wide into the first turn then taken back off the leading pair to stalk those from outside four wide, edged closer on the far turn and was asked for more past the five-sixteenths coming to the quarter pole in striking distance, failed to rally in the stretch. MICHAELS GIFT was lightly bumped into a rival at the start, settled off the pace inside, saved ground before moving out late on the far turn, shifted five wide into upper stretch, ran on. THE BIG ZAPPER vied inside, moved clear leaving the backstretch, was overtaken late on the far turn, gave way in the stretch. GERALD broke outwardly and was then bumped at the start, was prominent early pressing the pace from between then outside, forced the pace with narrow advantage from the three-quarter till about the nine-sixteenths, continued to chase outside three wide, gave way on the far turn and faded, was eased through the lane and walked off.
