LILLZ STAR had rail position in midfield, watched the contesting pair inside in the second flight through the bend, scraped paint straightening out for home and finished up willingly inside foes to capture the show money just at the wire. GAMBLE ON LOVE emerged with the lead on the inside at the five eighths pole, set the pace while pressured outside around the turn, disposed on the early speed rival at the top of the lane opening on horses, had little left in the tank in deep stretch and flattened out in the last seventy yards losing a couple of placings very late. SHAMELESS AFFAIR travelled three deep between runners in the early going keeping an eye on the lead twosome, inched up around the oval to be in the mix for a piece of the prize at the top of the lane, could only finish up one paced to the wire but almost caught a backing up early leader for a minor share in the end. RED MOOD settled in the middle of the pack early on two wide between foes down the backside, dropped back from the tracking group by the half, made little impression around the turn, angled out five wide having foes on either side turning for home and could not factor in the stretch running. MITOLE POWER hesitated on the break then popped out to trail by many along the backside, caught up to a rival outside midway on the turn, angled out widest in the six path for the stretch drive and finished up with interest gaining on rivals late even though unable to improve position at the wire. PORSHAS RUN flanked the pacesetter outside midway down the backstretch, moved in to press the issue still outside around the bend, shifted out three wide but was shortening stride when the winner swept past at the furlong pole and emptied out in the final sixteenth of a mile.
