Chart notes
MADELYN'S HIT had good speed from the break and was initially up on the pace, backed off late on the backstretch to race near last of the main group, angled out three wide for the stretch run, and responded when set down at the top of the stretch, finished best, and won clear. CRUSIN LIKE A CAT vied inside of the early pace battle, backed out early on the turn, then came back on, tipped out to the three path in upper stretch, could not go with the winner late but finished well for the place. MISS ROSIE veered out at the start, spotted the field a couple of lengths early, chased behind the pace battle down the backstretch, then moved up three wide late on the turn, finished up with good interest to gain a clear third but was never a serious threat to the top pair. HOPESHECANRUN broke best, vied between horses early, then went ahead with MYFRIENDSAWINNER through the turn, had the lead briefly in upper stretch but shortened strides and faltered midway down the lane. MISS TARGET raced mid-pack three to four wide and did not threaten in the late stages. MYFRIENDSAWINNER vied, then dueled inside of the pace scramble, then gave way in the stretch. SIMONEAUX STORM pressed the pace four then three wide early, started to lose ground on the leaders midway through the turn and was outfinished late.
