Chart notes
MR MCGREGOR got away well and was held up just behind the dueling leaders, kept to the inside path, waited patiently for room on the far turn, slipped through on the rail turning into the stretch, opened up and held clear of any late threats. SABI raced close up under a light hold, tracked two-wide behind the dueling leaders, bid four to five wide at the top of the stretch, could not get to the winner but outfinished the rest for the place. GET THEM JUSTIN was allowed to settle from the break and raced mid-pack, tracked inside down the backstretch, came under a ride with less than three furlongs to run, finished up well, but had some trouble changing leads and came up short. MI SOLUTION hustled away from the gate, got inside position, then dueled with HOUSE BOURBON from the clubhouse turn to the stretch, came under a ride midway through the turn, drifted out a bit leaving the rail open for MR MCGREGOR, finished willingly, but was unable to hold on for a minor award. PUBLIUS slow early to be well off the leaders near the rear of the field, commenced a steady, long drive on the turn, came four wide into the stretch, and finished with a late gain but was never a serious threat. SPECIAL STORMY void of early speed, settled at the rear, and was only able to pass tired rivals in the stretch. Z Z'S PRINCE raced in the middle of the pack then lacked the necessary response in the late stages. HOUSE BOURBON dueled two-wide with MI SOLUTION from the first turn to the stretch, gave way under pressure in the stretch, and tired.
