Chart notes
EASY FOR ME vied three-wide in the initial stages, then dueled clear of the rest outside of F J'S WARRIOR through the turn, took command approaching the quarter pole, and ran away from the others through the stretch under a hand ride. ARMALEESE was not asked for speed from the break and allowed to get into a good rhythm, was pushed along through the turn, made a steady advance three wide, hit the top of the stretch with some momentum, and chased the winner home to be well clear of the rest for second. DREAMCHASER JEWELS was briefly close but outpaced down the backstretch, dropped to last place before the turn, started a three-wide bid before the three-furlong pole, was put to urging from the quarter pole, and produced a grinding finish to gain third. OPAQUE vied inside, then dueled with EASY FOR ME into the turn, gave way near the quarter pole, and had nothing to offer in the later stages. CAMPOUT raced mid-pack and did not threaten. F J'S WARRIOR vied between horses early, dropped off the pace at the seven-sixteenths marker, then weakened on the turn with nothing left for the stretch run. STOPSPRETTYPLACES was briefly close up after the break, steadily backtracked through the field, was eased on the turn and not persevered with when hopelessly behind, galloped to the finish line, and walked off.
