Chart notes
CUECA allowed to settle at the rear of the field from the break, responded when roused leaving the five-sixteenths marker, came five-wide into the stretch, and produced a bold rally under strong handling to be up in time. ARTISTIC VISION tracked in mid-pack two-deep through the early running, made a strong middle move on the turn, loomed a big threat at the top of the stretch, gained the lead from XYNGIN SPITFIRE inside the furlonbg grounds but was caught near the wire by the winner. FELLA'S SISTER raced in the middle of the pack, then was mildly gaining some in the late stages. XYNGIN SPITFIRE showed good speed from the break, took command at the seven-sixteenths marker, opened up through the turn under confident handling, responded when roused in upper stretch, but gave way in the final furlong. SMART OKIE broke well but dropped far behind before the turn and made a mild late bid to pass one near the finish. RASPBERRY MARTINI broke on top then dueled with XYNGIN SPITFIRE into the turn, could not keep pace late on the turn, and weakened in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
