Chart notes
LA GIRVINA stalked the pacesetter from the fence to the far turn, edged closer on the bend, rallied splitting rivals three wide at the quarter pole, engaged the runner-up in mid-stretch and prevailed in a determined drive. SWEET NOLA set the pace on a well measured lead well in hand through the final bend, responded when called upon turning for home, battled the winner inside the eighth pole and was outfinished late in a game effort. ALCOHOL unhurried to be the trailer, closed the gap on the turn, rallied to loom in upper stretch and chased the top pair home willingly unable to gain position while narrowing the margin as best of the rest. CLARAMENTE tracked the leaders from four wide into the final turn, was put to an early drive and failed to mount a closing rally. GENEVIEVE'S Z VA prompted the pace to the far turn, ran-on through the bend to still be prominent turning for home and faded in the lane.
