Chart notes
DA CANDY CANE tracked four-wide, conceding the front end early, moved up three-wide through the turn, then bid four-wide into the stretch and rallied under steady handling and urging to get up and win going away in the late stages. CAMS HOTROD was first away, then overtook by LET HER BUCK near the five-furlong pole, set up back in a tracking position, then launched a bid just past the three-furlong marker, collared that rival inside the furlong grounds, but could not hold off the winner on the outside. LET HER BUCK missed the break, hopped and spotted the field a big head start, rushed up to take a clear lead before the turn, opened up on the field to be ahead by open lengths turning for home, then got short in the final furlong and had to settle for a minor award. STOLEN KISSES lacked any early speed and was outrun early, advanced to regain contact with the field on the turn, but was unable to threaten. ALL AFLUTTER raced mid-pack on the rail, moved up with CAMS HOTROD to go after the leader on the turn, but weakened midway through the turn and did not have much to give in the stretch. OH NIKI was near the back in the initial stages, then tried to make a forward move early on the turn, came under a stiff drive to keep up, but was unable to produce a late bid.
