Chart notes
MIKEL W stumbled at the start but quickly gathered up and raced to the lead, showed the way through the turn under some restraint, then opened up when let loose turning for home, was kept to task through the stretch run, and held clear to the finish. MI SATURDAY pressed the pace four-wide, moved into the second spot spinning four-wide out of the turn, responded when set down in upper stretch and finished up well but could not get to the winner. LANDLORD did not engage in the early pace battle, tracked behind the quartet on the lead, kept to the inside through the turn, and finished evenly to claim the third prize. TOM SAWYER got off to a level beginning, vied three-wide for the early lead, was put to urging while trying to bid for the lead from the five-sixteenths marker, but was outrun in the late stages. SON OF A BLING broke on top but was outpaced down the backstretch, chased the rest through the turn under a drive, and was unable to improve. STONEY BRICK ROAD hustled from the break, vied two-deep through the turn, then weakened in the stretch.
