Chart notes
LEONARD'S LEGACY prompted the pace down the backside, rallied into the turn to take command, kicked clear turning for home and was unthreatened in the lane. KEYSTONE HANK unhurried to be the trailer, circled seven wide turning for home and mounted a good closing kick in the lane to be up for the place. DANEFIELD stalked the pace through the turn, rallied four wide at the top of the lane and finished well losing the place in the final stride. SUMMERFEST reserved off the pace at the back of the pack, rallied turning for home angling six wide and mounted a good bid from between rivals in the lane. BEAR CREEK was well placed saving ground along the rail in striking distance through the turn and failed to respond when called upon. GEPARD set the early pace on a clear lead, had no answer when challenged by the winner on the turn and weakened through the lane.
