Chart notes
CON ON THE RUN set a well measured pace to the quarter pole, kicked away in upper stretch and drew off having controlled throughout. VALIANT VICTORIA prompted the pace to the head of the lane, could not keep pace with the winner in the lane and ran-on willingly to hold the place. DISCO CENTS tracked the leaders from the inside through the turn, angled four wide to split the top pair in the lane, dueled for the place with the runner-up in the final furlong and missed at the wire. SPEEDY HANS trailed to midway on the turn and passed tiring rivals in the lane. SHOWTIME BOY went evenly failing to menace. GEPARD stalked the pace from four wide to the head of the lane and flattened out.
