KIND KISMET was bothered at the start, then coaxed forward after being a bit slow into stride, was put into a drive from the seven-sixteenths marker, bid for the lead three-wide at the top of the stretch, responded to strong handling and urging in the stretch, and drove clear in the final furlong. FASTTIMESATMIDNITE was slow into stride but move up under coaxing, was close up three wide heading into the turn, then bore out through the turn, lost position, then re-bid under urging in the stretch, picked off rivals in deep stretch, and got up for the place in the last jump. LIL CARRIE D cleared the field before the turn, then was pressed through the turn by CAME UP ROSES, turned for home with a narrow advantage, finished with good courage, but was outkicked in the final yards. CAME UP ROSES exited the gate a bit rank, chased two-wide, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, pulled even with LIL CARRIE D at the five-sixteenths marker, loomed a big threat in upper stretch but flattened out late. THE LAST THRILL veered out at the start, raced up close through the initial stages, then lost ground through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, finished willingly but lacked the needed response. TAP THE LINE ducked out at the start, then had no early speed, was far back early, then finished with mild interest while never a serious threat. JOYZELLA got away well but was outpaced early, raced at the back of the field. and never managed a rally.
