Chart notes
THE BIG CHEESEOLA sprinted clear and cut over, led unchallenged on the inside then two wide around the bend, roused and asked right-handed in upper stretch and held GYPSY TEARS at bay through the final furlong. GYPSY TEARS tracked off the rail early on, angled to the inside early on the turn and gained from the fence, tipped out and loomed boldly in upper stretch but could not summon the needed late kick to overtake the winner. MAJOR TOM was bothered by GYPSY TEARS at the start and dropped back early, trailed on the inside into the turn, passed a rival while moving to the two path late on the bend, moved back inside in the lane and gained third. BRUTTO was closest in pursuit of the pacesetter in the two path,, came under a ride on the turn and failed to produce a bid in the furlong grounds. CONSTANT CONFLICT followed in range while steering off the rail, took the turn three wide and weakened. MY DOMINATOR chased from off the pace to the turn, traveled two then three wide to the stretch and failed to menace.
