Chart notes
SKY KEY was coaxed from the gate to get forward position, then had to steady on the first turn when OUTA JAIL ON BAIL moved to the rail, settled at the back of the main pack but never more than two or three lengths from the front, came four-wide into the stretch and finished up well under steady handling to win clear. LAST U TURN went three-wide through the first turn, settled mid-pack down the backstretch, quickened towards the OUTA JAIL ON BAIL alone on the lead leaving the five-furlong pole, pressed that rival through the turn, then bid three-wide at the top of the lantern, had the lead in upper stretch but was outkicked in the final yards. COCKTAILS AT NOON settled inside in the tracking group, became boxed in through most of the far turn, then was unable to kick on when clear and finished evenly. MOON CHARGER was unhurried from the start and trailed early,then lacked a rally. OUTA JAIL ON BAIL opened up a big lead under a tight hold, was let loose under pressure leaving the half-mile pole, held sway through the far turn, then gave way upper stretch.
