Chart notes
RICO SUAVE broke in a tangle, then rushed up into the early pace mix, launched a bid approaching the three-furlong pole to collar the early leader by the top of the stretch, raced greenly but got straightened out late and finished best to prevail by a clear margin in the end. LEAVETHENINETYNINE broke inward at the start and bumped the inside rival, then was in turn bumped a few strides into the race twice by MR WARDEN, settled in the back half of the field through the early stages, then launched a bid on the turn, swung five wide into the stretch, and rallied to gain the place. WISLEY broke on top but veered outward, led the way to the stretch, was overtaken in upper stretch, altered course to the outside but was unable to threaten late. MR. RIFFLE chased five-wide in the middle of the pack, loomed still wide at the top of the stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. BUKELE got off to an awkward start, moved up into contention down the backstretch, moved out to the two path on the turn, then flattened out and was unable to threaten late. SPARK ONE UP got bounced around after the start, lugged in early, then raced close up along the rail to the turn, then weakened in upper stretch. PURE GRINDING broke well, showed good speed to press the early pace in the initial stages, started to retreat before the turn, and did not have anything to offer in the stretch. BEAT THE BUZZER veered in at the start, then was crowded and steadied near the eleven-sixteenths marker, rushed up under a drive into the turn, but could not sustain the bid and had little to offer in the stretch. MO MO LIGHTNING had no speed and was never involved. MR WARDEN lugged in after the break and bumped LEAVETHENINETYNINE twice in the early stages, dropped to last before the turn, and was outrun from that point and stopped.
