Chart notes
GENTLY vied for the early lead, saved ground, pulled away and won handily. SASSI ROYAL pressed the early pace, saved ground around the turn, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. SKY SIMON raced in the middle of the pack, saved ground around the turn, angled out, finished wide and was outfinished for second. PERFECT DIAL lacked early speed, saved ground around the turn, made a rail bid and missed third. CLEARLY A STAR showed early speed, faded and was no threat late. REMEMBERIN RONALD raced evenly near the back, came around the turn on the outside, entered the stretch wide and was never a factor. GAB'S HUMOR raced near the middle of the field, weakened and was no threat late. MOTEL PATEL bumped start, lacked early speed and showed little. HILLBILLY'S HEART broke in, bumped, trailed and was outrun.
