FAST CHAZ broke alertly and was sent for the early lead, set the pace from the two path into the backstretch, carved out decent fractions while prompted into the far turn, shook free into upper stretch then drew clear into the final furlong, kept to task to the final sixteenth and held late over the oncoming runner-up. HAPPY DOES settled and saved ground to the first turn, unhurried while not far back along the backstretch run, roused at the three-eighths, swung six wide to upper stretch then rallied to the furlong grounds, closed willingly in the late stages, just missed for the win and held safely for second. BIG SPIN broke slowly and was void of early speed, trailed to the backstretch run, was given his cue leaving the half-mile marker, loomed five wide into the far turn then battled into the stretch, needed more into the final sixteenth and was outkicked late, while clear of the rest for third. SHASHASHAKEMEUP showed early speed and was forwardly placed to the first turn, stalked the decent pace three deep along the backstretch, went up and pressed the pace into the far turn, was turned away into upper stretch then yielded in the final furlong. MY INDY settled off of the early pace while not far back, tracked three to four wide along the backstretch, got shuffled back into the far turn, chased two wide to top of the lane and could not muster the needed late response. WEEKEND FLAME was forwardly placed leaving the start, steadied into the first turn then tracked the pace from the inside heading into the backstretch, was well placed while saving ground to the half-mile pole, chased from the inside heading to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response into the stretch and weakened. DON'T HAVE ANOTHER was crowded at the start and away a step slowly, settled in the second flight and outside of rivals entering the first turn, made a four wide middle move to the backstretch, vied three wide to the far turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker and gave way in the stretch. RULER OF ANGELS settled off of the early pace, moved closer while widest along the backstretch, ran in pursuit three wide into the far turn, was outkicked to upper stretch and tired in the lane. PICK A LANE FRANK showed early speed and was prominent to the first turn, attended to the pace while saving ground into the backstretch, dropped back nearing the half-mile pole, trailed into the far turn and came up empty in the stretch drive.
