Chart notes
HENRY MAC settled inside just off the pace on the inside, bided time through the turn, then slipped through an opening along the rail into the stretch, took the lead, then went clear under steady handling and urging. COLOR BEARER was outpaced through the early stages, then moved up three-wide on the turn, tipped out four-wide for the stretch run, and rallied under steady handling and urging to gain second. PROSECUTOR away well, tracked close up three-wide, loomed at the top of the stretch, but could not go with the winner in the final furlong and was outfinished for the place. WETZEL was the distant trailer early, then rallied four-wide late to improve. LUST FOR LIFE was briefly close up, then backed up after passing the half-mile marker, was last late on the turn, then managed to beat a couple of tiring rivals to the finish. ZAKARIA was quickest out of the gate and made the early running, led the way through the turn, then gave way in upper stretch. LIBERATE chased in mid-pack then tired in the stretch.
