Chart notes
PAY ZONE pressed the pace of MORE LOVE under a hard hold, was let loose near the five-sixteenths marker, came three-wide into the stretch, had a clear lead, and held sway late under a mild hand ride. JOHN'S ROCK settled inside of the trio at the back, saved ground throughout, and outfinished the rest to earn the second prize well clear of the third horse. OK SPEEDY a little slow into stride, was three-wide in the tracking group, came three-wide into the stretch, and was mildly gaining ground in the late stages. PANTHOR raced between horses in the second flight, then went evenly in the late stages. MORE LOVE broke on top, led the way under constant pressure from PAY ZONE early, well clear of the rest, yielded to that one midway on the turn, then tired and was outfinished in the stretch.
